TOPIK (Test of Proficiency in Korean) is the single biggest factor in how much scholarship you get in Korea.
The scholarship ladder
- TOPIK 3: usually 30% tuition off at partner universities
- TOPIK 4: around 50% tuition off, plus longer part-time hours
- TOPIK 5–6: 70% to 100% at selected universities
How long does it take?
Most serious students reach TOPIK 3 in 6 to 9 months. Start in Bangladesh, or begin with a D-4 language year in Korea.
